Here you can find tapas, spanish dishes, sandwiches, drinks, beers, wine, cocktails, coffee… and a very well know terrace. Kitchen is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. The place is a meeting point for residents and tourists. El Glaciar bar is included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. The bar is located on the lower porches of an old building on the corner of the Plaça Reial square. The design of the place is quite simple: a double-sided carpentry closure and doors, with a solid socket strip and the rest of the window. The whole is fitted to the frame of the openings and by the facade. As for the inside, the bar is rectangular in plan with two columns of fluted wood. The furniture emphasizes his old style, like the bar that is all marble with different colors and cutted with corner form or the tables with wood structure. In 1929 the old Glaciar bar on the Rambla del Centre moved to this premises in Plaça Reial. It was a meeting place for intellectuals and authors of the 20th century, such as Mario Vargas Llosa or Gabriel García Márquez.
