The supersmall island of Cap Roig gives name to this cove. The rock formation of reddish tones, is full of pine trees and also serves as an excellent viewpoint of the area. The island divides the beach in two different sections, all of them with unpolluted water, thick sand and rocky bottom, a good option for those who like diving. Everyone can access the beach on foot, following the coastal path, and also by car. You can park relatively close, in the road from Platja d’Aro to Sant Antoni de Calonge.
